Daranak falls is located in Brgy. Sampaloc, Tanay, Rizal, a few minutes from Tanay market.
I remember going to Daranak Falls and Batlag Falls last 2008 with my friends. We just thought of going there just to see the falls. .we very excited to see the Falls since I used to work in Tanay, I am wondering what this province has to offer This is the Daranak Falls, this is the 1st falls you will see upon entering the park, there's still another falls but you have to hike up the hill to see it.It is a government-owned park and part of the laguna watershed. If you are going by private vehicle, just follow the road going to Laguna from Antipolo. At the Daranak-Tanay junction (see waypoint), turn left and head straight uphill. You will see a sign "To Daranak Falls" at the left side of the road. It's hard to miss since there are several fruit stands on both sides of the road which sell fruits in season. Once you have turned left, just go straight. Check you brakes as you will pass by rocky steep roads. You will arrive at the parking area of Daranak at the end of this roa,hard enough to go there but once u get in there…its speech less reaction…just a big wowwwwwww!!!!!
